The West Village hates the Olsen twins for their noisy ways, so it should come as no surprise that they're rallying against the Jane Hotel's plan for a rooftop bar. The Jane Street Block Association's newsletter says the hotel promised its of-the-moment Ballroom would have "background music only," but "now the hotel is operating a noisy nightclub, with amplified music audible to neighbors well into the early morning hours." Guest of a Guest adds a rumor that the Jane has guaranteed entrance to nearby residents if they keep quiet. The neighbors, not the hotel. [GofaG; previously]
