The City Council's plan to get developers to maintain their stalled development sites (lookin' at you, Williamsburg!) is progressing, the Post reports. Basically, developers who pledge to clean up their messes will get lengthy extensions on their building permits, which usually expire after a year of inactivity. If they don't keep up their end of the bargain, the building permits would be immediately rescinded. [NYP]
