157 Hudson Street's Penthouse Triplets Have Tunnel Vision

New, 2 comments

How 'bout a little Friday penthouse porn from down at 157 Hudson Street, one of Tribeca's more interesting developments to come along in a while? The old American Express stable building is a pricey mix of old and new, with three glassy enclosures hidden up top?all with terraces and plenty of wide open space.

On the south end is PH #4A, 3,800-square-footer with 4BRs, 5BAs and a ginormous 1,500-square-foot terrace facing south and west that opens onto all the main rooms. It can be called home for $4.95M. On the north side is PH #4B, slightly smaller but with equally epic terrace action (and views of the ever-changing Tribeca right across Laight Street), asking $5.1M. Last up is PH #5B, a duplex covering 4,000 square feet, with 3BRs, 3.5BA and two cozy terraces both overlooking the endless drama of... vehicles exiting the Holland Tunnel. No wonder it's the cheapest of the lot, available for $4.75M. Think those $1,189 to $1,375 prices-per-square-foot are a little low for new Tribeca penthouses? Don't forget that at 157 Hudson, the big boys lurk downstairs.
