A contributor to Lower East Side blog The Lo-Down has been nervously documenting the rise of the new Gouverneur Healthcare facility on Madison Street, wondering how much of his sliver of an East River view would be canceled out forever. Well, the flag was recently planted at the top of the steel structure, and the sliver remained. Hooray! But wait, the thing keeps on growing! Eh, it's just the Brooklyn skyline getting wiped out now.
