LES's Blue Moon Hotel Uses Price Hike to Remind Us it Exists

New, 1 comment

We'd almost forgotten about the Blue Moon Hotel, an old-timer among the 34,391 hotels that have been planned for Orchard Street. The Blue Moon first hit the market in 2005 for $20 million. The Lo-Down checked in and discovered that the hotel is still on the market four years later -- this time for $35 million. The listing language is lifted straight from the good old days of 2006: "This is a prime opportunity for a hotel user they can also use it for selling time-shares, or turn it into a condo hotel. The property would also make a great bed and breakfast opportunity." We all know a price hike cures all ills, especially in a down market, so expect one condo hotel, coming right up.
