The real estate controversy du jour?buyers looking for loopholes to back out of contracts signed back in the glory days?gets some play in this month's print edition of The Real Deal, including details on how developers are countering the lawsuit blitz. Builders are now adding clauses requiring that buyers forfeit deposits and cover legal fees if they back out, and setting very generous "outside dates" for building completion.
