Gay nightlife mag Next mapped the Manhattan gay bars that have closed since the turn of the century. What does it all mean? Heck if we know, but here's Gawker's take: "It's funny that even though most of the gay bars that have closed are in the East Village, West Village, Chelsea, and Hell's Kitchen, that's where most of the gay bars are still today.
