NYC's Narrowest House Now a $10,000/Month Rental

New, 6 comments

A sharp-eyed Curbed commenter notes that the recently-sold 75 1/2 Bedford, NYC's narrowest house and the former home of Cary Grant, John Barrymore, Margaret Mead, and other luminaries, is already on the rental market. The 2BR, 2BA pad has lost the decimal point in its address (it's now going by 76 Bedford Street) but not its expectations of fetching a high price: the rental ask is $10,000/month. According to Streeteasy, other West Village rentals asking in the $9,000-$10,500 range are at least 1,117-square-feet to 75 1/2 Bedford's 999.
