Inside the Tavern on the Green Auction; Uno's Closings Continue

New, 2 comments

This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) UWS: The three-day auction of Tavern on the Green's innards ended this morning, but Eater looked inside at the restaurant pieces being sold off. Apparently, the city was secretly among the bidders.

2) Greenwich Village: The Uno's on Sixth Avenue and 8th Street has closed. That makes practically a rash of Uno's closings, given the shutter of the Third Ave and 11th Street location.

3) Chelsea: There are a few updates to the rumors of Jeffrey Chodorow's 20,000-square-foot Food Parc food court in the Kimpton Hotel. Possibilities: a chocolate pudding cart, a Chris Cannon wine program, and perhaps a rotating program in which big local chefs do one-night stints. Fun!
