And there's one other boom-time habit the buildings aren't giving up easily: pricing. This triplex penthouse at 173 Perry Street hit the market late last week asking $25 million. That gets you 5,111 "architect ready" indoor square feet plus two terraces per floor. For comparative purposes, Hugh Jackman paid $21 million for an 11,000-square-foot triplex with interior design by Meier in sibling 176 Perry Street. It looks like the 173 Perry triplex might be the combination of #13N and #PH-N, both snapped up by financial world big cheese Gilbert Lamphere over the last few years. #PH-N was once owned by Martha Stewart. Perhaps she'd be willing to host a housewarming?
