We've heard of overaggressive rats plaguing tony West Village side streets and the celebrities who glide along them, but the Daily News reports that residents of a Throggs Neck housing project have it worse. Their great scourge? Skunks. Residents are "terrified to leave their homes after dark," but the crisis has led to amusing mental images like this one: "In a pinch, I rubbed the dog down with Prego spaghetti sauce." [NYDN]
