Tavern on the Green Gets a Chef; Dining Out for Haiti; More!

1) UWS: Now-empty Tavern on the Green is ready for its future, whatever that will be. The restaurant's new operator hasn't yet signed a lease, but the important detail has been resolved: Tavern has a chef! It's the W Hotel chain's Michael Wurster.

2) Midtown: New restaurant K! Pizzacone might open as early as next Wednesday. Yes, that's right: Pizzacone, as in pizza in a cone.

3) NYC: Public service announcement: a map of which restaurants are donating how much to Haiti relief efforts, and when.
