P.S. 1's Pole Dance is LIC's Best Animated Feature

New, 2 comments

Last week it was announced that architecture firm SO-IL's Pole Dance was the winning submission in P.S. 1's annual competition to design a temporary installation in the museum's Long Island City courtyard. You know what probably wasn't close? The voting. Check out the animation submitted by the architects to the jury. We're sure there are people in this world who can resist a rainbow of bouncey balls falling out of the LIC sky while the soothing sounds of Simon & Garfunkel play in the background, but we are simply not those people.
