Construction Accidents

Frank Gehry's 76-story dick joke is having trouble keeping it in its pants. The Beekman Tower near City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge dumped some construction debris onto Spruce Street this morning, forcing the closure of the block between Park Row and William Street. 1010 WINS reports that the Office of Emergency Management described the debris as "relatively small," and no one was hurt. A tipster just sent along a photo of the building, largely hidden behind a heavy dose of gloom. Maybe Bruce Ratner can call the boys off until the weather clears up a bit. [1010 WINS]
