New, 1 comment

Blog Amusing the Zillion reports that Coney Island's new (temporary) amusement park operator, Zamperla USA, has spilled the beans on the park's name: Luna Park. Zamperla chose the name, which will cover three parcels of land between the former Astroland site and Keyspan Park, after the Luna Park that stood on Coney Island between 1903 and 1946. Alberto Zamperla also told his hometown newspaper he's estimated 400,000 visitors for the first season and plans a $24 million investment over three years. [AtZ; previously]
