Gehry's Tower All Patched Up; A Land Without a High Line

FIDI?After the whipping winds did a number on Frank Gehry's big Beekman, the 76-story tower is once again wrapped with the proper protection. Looks like the stop work order has been rescinded, too. [CurbedWire Inbox]

MEPA?We're not done playing with the 1924 aerial map of NYC we found out about yesterday, and one reader let us in on a good visual timeline: no High Line, to 2006's photo of High Line park construction, to 2008's shot of a more completed High Line with the Standard Hotel hovering above. We were bored so we screengrabbed it.
