Target To Save Harlem's Costco in July; Forever 21's Expansion Tear

New, 1 comment

And now, the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) East Harlem: East River Plaza's Costco has fallen on some tough times, but salvation may be ahead! The complex's Target is set to open in July, according to a sign outside.

2) Midtown West: Also this summer, there's a 90,000-square-foot Forever 21 coming to the former Times Square Virgin Megastore space, and based on the latest mega-Forever 21 to open in LA, Racked has some intel on what to expect. Among other things, entire rooms devoted to shoes, underwear, jewelry, and accessories. Or, as a Racked LA correspondent put it: "So. Much. STUFF."

3) NYC: Is there window plagiarism going on? We're not exactly qualified to judge, but a Racked reader accuses Ann Taylor of taking Chanel's last-season windows. Uh oh.
