The Post's Lois Weiss reports that we're no closer to knowing whether starchitect Jean Nouvel's proposed tower next to the Museum of Modern Art on 53rd Street will actually get built. According to some new documents, developer Hines Interests has until June 2013 to close or terminate its agreement with MoMA, and the agreement has to close before construction can begin. And just in case three and a half years doesn't seem like a long enough time to wait, Hines has the option to draw it out for another two years. We're setting our alarm clock for 2015.
