This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...
1) Midtown: There are a few more details now out in the world regarding the Rockefeller Center edition of Bill's Bar & Burger. The 10,000-square-foot space will be decorated with "intensely colorful" work by local artists and is set to open in May.
2) East Village: More distressingly for those in the EVill, though, the owner of Ray's Candy Store on 7th Street and Avenue A has only until today to pay the two months rent he owes. Otherwise, the building's managing agent will be back -- with chains and padlocks.
3) East Village: The long-empty space at the corner of Second Avenue and 2nd Street now has a taker, an Italian restaurant from the people who brought you Max in the East Village and Tribeca. The Max peeps are set to appear before Community Board 3 on Monday. Godspeed.
