FLAnk's 385 West 12th Street, the copper-clad Far West Village fortress, overcame the shaky luxury real estate market to sell all but one of its 12 units. But now the architect-developers have competition, and the call is coming from inside the house! A second four-bedroom "townhouse" condo in the building has been put back on the market by the unit's buyers only two months after closing. Townhouse 3 was first listed for $8.75 million, sold for $6.975 million, and now commands $7.995 million. That's quite the gamble, which would make sense if the buyer/seller is the same Daniel P. Kramer of Scarsdale who got pinched in a betting ring in 1995. At least he's finding new outlets to get his fix?
The unit is also for rent for $27,000 per month, and that separate listing has some long awaited interior photos as well as a reveal of the building's rooftop pool. Don't forget to invite the neighbors at Superior Ink over for a dip! Here's the triplex floorplan. The other on-the-market townhouse in the building is listed at $7.195 million.
