Most people who have had any experience with contractors probably don't have the nicest things to say about them, but the Daily News profiled Stephen Fanuka who is trying to lend some integrity to the craft. Having worked with A-listers like Beyoncé, Tom Brokaw, Tyra Banks, Lindsay Lohan and Tony Bennett he's definitely gotten around town but don't think that he's going to make any excuses for his fellow contractors. Dropping lines like "It's easier to be a contractor than a cabbie. All you have to do is pass a test. Contractors have become like lawyers. Most of them suck." it's hard not to like this guy. You can get the whole piece right here. [NYDN]
