Matthew Moorhouse, an Australian businessman who was recently acquitted of attempted rape of a maid at the Standard Hotel is having his revenge. According to the Post,the "racy atmosphere" of the hotel encouraged the false rape accusations against him. Moorhouse claims the story was fabricated after he caught the maid stealing from his bags. He's trying to get $10 million out of the Standard stating that prosecutors said that he specifically booked the hotel for it's kinky and exhibitionist reputation. [NYP]
