Been a while since we checked in on 57 Irving Place, the glassy contraption with the motorized pop-out windows from architect Audrey Matlock. The facade is pretty much all assembled, creating a striking contrast with the historic Irving Place neighbors (what would O. Henry say?). Some of the windows still appear to be wrapped in plastic. No fingerprints, kids! No units have closed, though three, including the biggie $18 million townhouse, are in contract. The website? Still smooth. Awwwww yeah.
