New Stairway to High Line Heaven; Midtown's Cassa Dumps Broker

WEST CHELSEA?The new staircase at 23rd Street for Phase II of the High Line that we've been keeping a close eye on has been installed. Phase II doesn't open until next spring, so no peeking! Those burly dudes will mess you up. [CurbedWire Inbox]

MIDTOWN?Recently, the Cassa Hotel & Residences has been trashed by its own architect and played host to maybe the craziest show house ever. What's absent from those headlines? Sales. So the off-white tower near Times Square square is switching brokers, going from the foreign-focused Prodigy International to Elliman's Bracha Group. The Real Deal reports Prodigy managed to sell 40% of the 57 apartments to international buyers, but nada domestic. Prices in the building range from $900,000 to $20 million, and you can rent a penthouse for $100,000 per month, too. [CurbedWire Inbox]
