Brooklyn's Barneys Co-op Opens; Tea Under the High Line; More!

And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Cobble Hill: Brooklyn took another step towards becoming Manhattan today with the opening of the borough's first Barneys Co-op store. Racked's report from the scene: "The Atlantic Avenue Co-op isn't very different from any other Barneys Co-op, and that's precisely the point. Creative director Simon Doonan told us that the store made no compromises' for Brooklyn: It still carries all the Alexander Wang, Richard Chai Love, and ALC that you'd expect to find at the Co-op in Soho, and the space still has that quintessentially airy-urban Barneys feel. "

2) West Chelsea: Waris Ahluwalia—jewelry designer, model/actor, familiar face and party-attender—has opened a pop-up tea shop under the High Line. Really. Here's the proof!

3) Trumpville: We all respect Ivanka Trump as a hard-working real estate mogul on the rise, and now we can all walk a mile in her shoes. She's got her own collection, and she's tweeting photos of some samples.
