Jean Nouvel is a very modest man. Would an egomaniac starchitect say "My buildings are more famous than me" or "I think architecture has to be a gift." Humble and generous! He laughed off any suggestions that his MOMA tower resizing caused him much grief saying "It's very French to cut the head, eh? A guillotine!" CBS news had very flattering things to say about the seemingly charming Nouvel saying that (much like pigeons) he is "leaving his gifts now across the skyline of the world." [CBS]
