The Real Estate Board of New York has already done a lot of lobbying to bring the plans for the 7 train extension to 10th Avenue and 41st Street back to life, and now the real estate and construction industries are kicking $250,000 into the pot for the project. They're hoping the investment will help them get a $3 million federal grant, which would be used to redesign the subway station so that it could be built even after the rest of the 7 line extension is finished.
