Back in August, developer Extell sued Brown Harris Stevens and other firms for commissions paid on sales that never closed at the Upper East Side's Lucida. Brown Harris Stevens insisted it wouldn't pay back the commissions, but now the Times reports the firm and Extell settled the case, and Extell's also settled with brokerage Sloane Square. The last firm standing is Century 21 Metro, which is hanging on to a $39,104 commission check. [NYT; previously]
