Broker-blogger Malcolm Carter later reported that Cardinal Investments had accepted an offer on the penthouse, and guessed it would come in around $2.175 million. Good guess! Auctioneers Paramount Realty USA just announced that the three-bedroom duplex penthouse closed for $2.175 million, or $965 per square foot. The penthouse was once asking $3.4 million.
