The first phase of Moynihan Station construction is a bit underwhelming, but state officials know how to get us excited about yesterday's ceremonial groundbreaking: new renderings! A Curbed commenter points us to the Empire State Development website, which has three new looks at the Farley Post Office's costly conversion to Amtrakville. No glass ceilings and hotels quite yet, just a concourse and one of the new entrances. It's already looking better than Penn Station across the street, but wouldn't anything?
