How to Make an Eight-Digit Apartment Sound Like a Bargain

New, 6 comments

Less than a month ago, a tech mogul put his huge spread on the 56th floor of Lincoln Center's Park Millennium (known to most as the Millennium Tower) on the market for a staggering $34.5 million?more than twice the price of the building's next most expensive apartment. Down one floor, a light bulb went off in #PH55DE, and now that 2,450-square-foot 3BR/3.5BA apartment is also on the market, for $10.9 million. That's nearly $4,450 per square foot, but looks like peanuts next to the price tag upstairs (granted, that penthouse is 5,800 square feet) and it's only the building's fifth priciest listing right now. Looks like Regis Philbin and Howard Stern will have to learn a lot of new faces.
