At the end of a long rundown of the 10-year renovation history of East River Park, WNYC drops the news that the park's rehab could finish as early as next July. It's been quite the journey for a project that was originally supposed to take about two years, thanks to a few, ah, misunderstandings between the contractor and state waterway cleanup laws.
