Since Toll Brothers purchased the lot at 132 East 65th Street, some Upper East Siders have been getting anxious about what the developer's planned 15-story luxury condo building will do to the look of the street. Usually, the developer would have to go before the Landmarks Preservation Commission, but not this time: the plans for 132 East 65th Street were grandfathered in to the purchase of the site.
