Broker-blogger Malcolm Carter sat in on the auction yesterday of 3 East 10th Street, the multi-family townhouse that was forced onto the block by a family feud. The house went in three minutes for $6.634 million, well above the $5.5 million reserve but below the June asking price of $9.9 million. The buyer has no renovations planned yet, but perhaps the independent floorplan artist can advise on alternate layouts. [Malcolm Carter; previously]
