Brownstoner has the latest troubling update regarding the Brooklyn Navy Yard's Timber Shed, which is one of the historic Admiral's Row buildings that are actually supposed to be saved. The new supporting structure that went up along the brick wall near the Timber Shed is not for the benefit of the crumbling building, but rather a protective measure just in case it collapses. Most of the rest of Admiral's Row is becoming a supermarket. [Brownstoner]
