Terrifying London Terrace Scaffolding to Make Room for Art

New, 3 comments

Earlier this month, we launched our Scaffolding Nightmare Investigative Patrol of Persistent Youngsters (SNIPPY) with a look at the terrors of London Terrace, the massive Chelsea rental complex that's been waking up to scaffolding on its 23rd and 24th street sides for a long time. Our Persistent Youngster found a mineshaft-like atmosphere with a high fright factor at the scene. Did the SNIPPY snooping prompt some action? Or perhaps it's just spooky timing! Word has hit the Curbed inbox that the next installment of the ArtBridge scaffolding art project announced for London Terrace a while back is happening soon. The exhibit, with guest curators like Charles Renfro, begins November 11. We're glad we got a look at the terror while it was still around.
