The Campbell Apartment is Haunted; John Dory Illustrated; More!

This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) Grand Central: Remember on the first episode of Gossip Girl, when Nate and Serena are shown getting freaky on the bar at the Campbell Apartment (above)? Turns out there were some ghosts watching, too.

2) Tribeca: A day after CaVaLa Park was renamed in honor of the late Albert Capsouto, "Who Goes There?" checks in on his family's 30-year-old neighborhood institution, Capsouto Freres. What's changed in the French restaurant over that time? Not much.

3) Lower East Side: Everyone's favorite super-hipster semi-secret comfort food capital, Freemans, now has a second floor! Check out what's new at the end of the alley.

4) Flatiron/NoMad/WhoDi/Whatever: On November 8 in the Ace Hotel, the John Dory Oyster Bar will open and instantly become impossible to get into, probably. Josh Stein got a preview, and when the management wouldn't allow pictures, he sketched the place. This is something you should look at right now.
