The meanies over at the Apthorp management have posted signs explaining the very strict rules for trick or treating in the building. According to the Observer, "Children under seven and non-residents must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Only doors with signs may be knocked on." When asked about the rules a resident just replied with "No one lives here anymore". Well, that's really sad. It should just double as a gigantic haunted house we think. Or people could dress up as Elliman brokers and trick or treat for commissions. Sigh. [Observer]
