Apparently all it takes is a Whole Foods, Michael's and hundreds of new apartments to attract a crowd to a formerly quiet corner of the Upper West Side. The Columbus Square complex is opposing a newsstand in front of its 808 Columbus Avenue tower because it would take up too much space, and some locals are mad as hell. What's with all the newsstand hate lately? Guess old media really is dead. [DNAinfo]
