Landscape architecture firm OLIN has been selected to lead the complete redesign of the Metropolitan Museum's dreary fountain/plaza area along Fifth Avenue. Billionaire David Koch pledged $10 million to the project after he was inspired by the new Las Vegas-style Lincoln Center fountain. That should be enough to pay for the whole thing and still have enough left over to bribe the Landmarks Preservation Commission with Edible Arrangements. [Arts Beat]
