Some downtown restaurateurs have formed a trade group to combat what they say is unfair treatment by Community Boards 2 and 3, and the Journal story on their efforts is an entertaining anti-NIMBY gripe session. Some quotes: "You're going into CB 3, you're going into a lion's den." "It was as if I was applying to join a very exclusive Co-Op." "They should call them communist boards instead of community boards." [WSJ]
