Following recent reports that people are starting to care about Soho's artist-in-residence zoning law again, broker-blogger Manhattan Loft Guy takes a look at the history of artist zoning law enforcement. And finds a string of reported crackdowns over the past few years...and no changes in Soho market patterns as a result. One possible change is at the Department of Buildings, where inspectors may face more pressure to follow the zoning law after recent corruption scandals.
