While he was in Newark last week to watch his Nets get dismantled by the Miami Heat, Russian oligarch Mikhail Prokhorov stopped by West Chelsea's glorious 200 Eleventh Avenue to check out a $17.5 million condo. But he didn't only have sky garages on the mind. The endlessly fascinating Prokhorov also swung by Brooklyn to settle some old scores. According to the NetsDaily blog, Prokhorov watched (from the roof of his Atlantic Yards partner Bruce Ratner's shopping mall, Atlantic Yards Report suspects) while crews demolished 636 Pacific Street, the building in the arena footprint that was the home of Atlantic Yards holdout Daniel Goldstein. There's even a picture of Prokhorov taking in the destruction, which in no way is the behavior of a super villain. Afterwards, Prokhorov went to Peter Luger to feast on porterhouse. Opulence: He has it.
