A year ago, James Press was Deputy CEO of Chrysler, one of a series of high-up car industry jobs that allowed him to spend $13.5 million on the townhouse at 178 East 64th Street in 2007. These days, Wikipedia informs us, Press allegedly owes more than $1.35 million in unpaid federal taxes and personal loans. Time to sell! With just one problem: he can't seem to find the right price. When the townhouse came on the market in May '09, it was asking $15.75 million. Now it's down to $14.65 million. Which could still fund about 90 sequels to Roger & Me.
