The confusing recent history of 1110 Park Avenue, once the home of abstract painter Judith Rothschild, has not, it turns out, gotten any less confusing since a buyer purchased the house for $8.75 million in August. Prior to that sale?to a buyer named Nicole Salmasi?the house was marketed as an $18,000/month luxury rental and then went into foreclosure. Now it's going for the Manhattan high-end real estate trifecta with an attempted flip. The new price is a whopping $14.95 million, an amount the broker tells us he thinks is reasonable not because of the house's current condition but because it comes with air rights that will allow an additional 20,000 square feet to be built.
