This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...
1) LES: The Lower East Side may be losing Pink Pony and Max Fish, but we'll always have Imperial Tavern, above. If it doesn't evoke the same sense of nostalgia, that's because it just opened this week. Eater went inside to get a glimpse of the burger served between two donuts.
2) UES: The Upper East Side will soon be getting its own branch of cupcakerie Magnolia in Bloomingdales. And the Magnolia expansion tear will continue with branches in Long Island and New Jersey's Short Hills Mall.
3) West Village: Now open is Bell Book & Candle, a restaurant named after a Jimmy Stewart film and with its own rooftop farm.
4) NYC: Looking for a place to dine on Christmas? Look no further.
