The early signs for the new condos at the old Brooklyn Macaroni Company warehouse were promising. Only a week after hitting the market in October, 15 of 17 units at 25 Carroll Street, priced from $475,000 to $1.449 million, allegedly had offers. And that was before the apartments had walls, appliances, or floors! We were stunned, especially given the location on the border of Red Hook. But it was all true! According to Brownstoner, the building has officially sold out in only slightly longer than it takes to make a box of mac and cheese. The sales haven't yet hit public record, but given that five units in the building raised their prices in early November, we're guessing the closing prices for these apartments will be yet another surprise out of the Mason Fisk look-alike.
