Jay-Z's Hotel Beef

New, 1 comment

The legal spat over Jay-Z's failed hotel development deal in Chelsea has been settled, The Real Deal reports. Hova and his partners defaulted on a $52 million loan at 511 West 21st Street, a former warehouse they looked to turn into the first of many J Hotels. They tried to turn over the deed in lieu of foreclosure, but then Hova sued the lenders for trying to "bleed" additional millions out of him. The case was settled out of court, and Jay-Z has given up the property. He now has 98 problems remaining. [Real Deal]
