It's too bad Leonardo DiCaprio already turned down his chance to star in the saga of Hudson Blue, because it's becoming more Christopher Nolan-worthy by the day. Crain's reports that the West Side Highway's troubled project changed hands last week for $8.4 million. Even with an apartment reconfiguration, a single-family townhouse proposal, and a foreclosure auction in its past, the project's biggest surprise may yet be in store: Hudson Blue might be coming back to life as condos. One of the brokers involved in selling the property tells Crain's there were about 30 offers for the property, and it's likely that new owner The Sabet Group will want to finish up the condos?which are now about 80 percent done?and market them for around $1,500/square foot. And now we've officially seen it all.
