Bushwick Officially Ready to Become the Next Chelsea

Gentrification's relentless march into Bushwick doesn't stop even for the holiday season: BushwickBK reports that Chelsea art gallery Luhring Augustine has bought a 10,200-square-foot Bushwick warehouse at 25 Knickerbocker Avenue. The gallery will renovate the $2 million building into a "Chelsea-like viewing space" with polished concrete floors, climate control, and skylights. Most of the building will still serve as storage space for the gallery, but about a quarter of it will feature exhibitions. Better buy in Ridgewood while you still can!
